The Loft Stage at East Ridge, a 938 seat state of the art facility, is home to East Ridge High School Band, Choir and Theater as well as the primary venue for Woodbury Community Theater, East Metro Symphony Orchestra and many of our community's best fine arts events.  If you have not yet visited the Loft, check out East Ridge Theater's performance of The Break of Noon, coming this winter!

Congratulations Triple A Award Winners!

I am proud to announce that Jayden Cline and Julia Reimann are the recipients of our ERHS Triple ‘A’ Award nominations.
 
Sponsored by the Minnesota State High School League, the AAA Award - Academics, Arts, and Athletics - is a unique recognition program designed exclusively for Minnesota high school seniors who have excelled in the classroom, on the athletic field, and in the fine arts.  Every member school of the League is invited to nominate one girl and one boy for the Triple “A” Award.  Nominees must be a senior in high school, have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher, participate in MSHSL fine arts and/or athletic activities, and comply with the MSHSL Student Code of Conduct.
 

TCF Musical Theatre Scholarship Announcement

We are proud to announce the TCF Bank Musical Theatre Scholarship. This scholarship provides SpotLight Musical Theatre Program participants the opportunity to attend a Twin Cities musical theatre summer program. Interested students are invited to fill out an essay that demonstrates their commitment to arts learning, utilizing the arts to give back to their community, and basis for need. The deadline to submit applications is Friday, March 2.

District One Act Play Festival 01/20

The ERHS One Act Play, The Break of Noon, is almost here! Come support the East Ridge one act at the District One Act Festival tomorrow (Friday, January 20th) @ 6:30 pm in the Loft Stage. This night will feature plays from East Ridge, Park, and Woodbury. The cost is $5 for general admission. All tickets can be purchased at the door. Hope to see you there!

The Break of Noon Crew List

The Break of Noon: Crew

Thank you to everyone who expressed interest in participating on the crew for the show. I am happy to invite everyone to participate in set construction, which begins tomorrow (Tuesday) at 7pm in the scene shop. We are going to be working on some pretty cool pieces and can use all the help we can get with construction, painting and finishing the set pieces. Unfortunately, because this is the One-Act, not everyone can travel with the show. Below is the list of individuals who will make up the traveling crew. Please do not be discouraged if you don't see your name on the list. There was a lot of interest and not many spaces to fill.
