On Saturday December 3rd from approximately 8:00-12:00 AM, Tartan Park is holding another event similar to the Halloween Event back in October, only this time it is Christmas related.  This again is like an "open-house" where the children come with their parents/grandparents to see Santa, fget their faces-painted, listen to Christmas Carols and see Mrs. Clause, Rudolph, Frosty, etc.  They can also go to a coloring station and make a memory book with volunteers (primarily us) of the great day they have experienced.  There are also games and prize drawing games.  Then from about 9:30-10:15 is the entertainment portion.  More information will be decided a little later as to what we will do, but set in stone is having Joe Johnson reading The Night Before Christmas and maybe have us act it out and incorporate the characters that are at the event and maybe sing and dance to christmas songs.  Children don't like to sit for too long so incorporating them to interact is key.  Again, more information will be decided at a later date but right now we need people to sign up.  I'm not sure how many we need at the moment but there will be a sign up sheet outside of Mrs. Hestwoods office soon.  And when you sign up, be sure you can 100% go to the event, so we don't have people dropping off at the last minute.  Thank you again and the Halloween Event was a hit, so thank you to all who made it great!
