Officer Positions for Next Year!

Elections for next year's LoftPAC officers are coming up!  There are five offices: President, Vice-President, Special Events Planner, Clerk, and Historian.  Remember, in order to run you must prepare a paragraph of your ideas and reasons for why you should be elected and turn it in to Ms. Hestwood by the LoftPAC meeting on April 4th.  There are no grade level restrictions for any office.  It is a great learning experience and an opprotunity to let your creativity shine through on special events projects, workshops, and the banquet!  I hope many of you will consider running. Below is a position-by-position breakdown for all the current officer positions

President

  • Leads meetings
  • Establishes agenda
  • Booster Liason
  • Supervises LoftPAC projects
  • Emails officer updates
  • Co-plans spring banquet
  • Coordinates elections

Vice President

  • Alternates the meeting lead
  • Alternates establishing agenda
  • Alternate Booster Liason
  • Supervises LoftPAC projects
  • Co-plans spring banquet
  • Tracks attendance
  • In charge of community outreach
  • In charge of Loft-Wear

Special Events Coordinator

  • Plans non-ceremony part of spring banquet
  • Organizes field trips/workshops
  • Organizes talent nights
  • Organizes LoftPAC trips

Historian

  • Plans and creates video yearbook
  • Photographs all LoftPAC events
  • Gathers newspaper articles/programs and other documentation of events
  • Fundraising Coordinator

Clerk

  • In charge of college library/Student Resources
  • Takes notes of every meeting and posts them on the Loft Stage website or emails them to fellow officers
  • Needs to remind people of upcoming meetings
  • Coordinates the LoftPAC Facebook page
