Join the staff of East Ridge Theater Department in exploring the world of theater on The Loft Stage. These workshops are open to students in grades 5th through 12th with sessions for middle school students in the morning and high school students in the afternoon.

This camp is for all actors, singers and dancers who love musical theater! If you want to fine tune your skills in time for your high school musical auditions, this is the camp for you! We move fast and work as hard as we play! With classes dealing with in the moment acting, vocal production and jazz/musical theatre dance techniques, you will be well on your way to becoming a genuine triple threat. You will work all week with experienced faculty, who are also seasoned professional artists, along side your fellow performers to create a one-of-a-kind, original musical production that YOU helped write! Each week we’ll produce an entirely different show so join us for both and have twice the fun!!!

Students will choose from workshops on acting, singing, dancing, scene painting, improvisation, technical theater and so much more. Workshops are intended for students who are new to the theatrical arts as well as those with lots of experience. So come and join us for a wonderful week of theater!

Congratulations to Seniors Pari Cariaga and Matt Thorsen who represented East Ridge at Chanhassen Dinner Theatre as part of the Star Kids program. The program celebrates excellence in musical theater from around the Twin Cities. Matt and Pari had a walk-on role in Bye, Bye, Birdie on the mainstage February 7th.
